As my husband aptly summarized, “What a slow jerk of a movie.” The location is pure eye candy, and while it features two strong actors, the script is shockingly lazy and bland. His character comes off as childish and self-absorbed, while she lacks the depth and wisdom you’d expect from an older woman. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen, but the film just fizzles out, leaving you feeling pretty empty. It’s movie to have on in the background for the scenery, but that’s about it.
