Personally, I thought that the Elvis the movie was stunning ... Austin Butler did such an amazing job that at times I really thought I was watching Elvis perform. Now he was before my time as I was born in the 1950's ... I came of age with Bob Dylan; Joan Baez; Leonard Cohen, The Mammas & The Pappas, The Seekers & then the British invasion in the 1960's of The Beatles & The Rolling Stones, The Who, etc. Thank you to Baz for producing such an amazing & informative movie. The costumes were sensational so thanks to his wife Catherine for all her hard work. I'd forgotten just how strict society was back then, so it was a jolt of awakening for me ... all the horrible racism & religious zealots coming down hard, was truly ghastly to watch, but as I said, it was informative for me.
