This game is not a finished product. I understand that the devs have to meet a deadline for release, but at some point someone should have the integrity to not release a finished product. They need to get away from the 2k approach of a game every year and just take their time on building a fully finished decent product. Here’s my points. 1. Universe Mode - Sandbox mode is the same as last year. They introduced superstar mode that will become boring to you before you acquire the trophy associated with it. Fun in theory, but so overly complex that it drowns the fun in the effort and time needed to make it your own. 2. GM Mode - The reason many people bought this game, (myself included). This mode is the most disappointing aspect of the game and thats saying something. The only reason they released this mode is because of popular demand. It is not finished. They should have built it for another year or two before releasing it to us. Then again, they are a business and they are here to make money and sometimes that can only happen by misleading the buyer unfortunately. With that being said, this is still the only reason I play this game. Even if it’s once every few weeks and only for about an hour. 3. Glitches - google for yourself. You’ll see enough. I can’t say I own another game that glitches this badly and I own about 200 games on ps4. 4. Create a Superstar - Not bad if you don’t mind spending a few hours on a superstar due to ridiculous load times. No, not my ps4, this is the only game I own that loads this slowly. It’s like playing Warzone on ps1. Sorry, that’s not fair. Warzone doesn’t deserve that slur. 5. My Faction mode - this might be the most ridiculous aspect of this game. Like most of this game, great in theory. Execution is weak. I again lost interest before completing the proving grounds tower. Also acquired all the medals in two different towers and the game would credit the trophies as all being acquired, but would not release the unlockables that I earned. Not to mention the work needed to acquire the trophies associated with this mode. The time it would take to unlock the trophies, if you only spent 5 minutes on each match, (good luck with that), and you won every match on your first try, it would take you 84 hrs to win 1000 matches. This wouldn’t be a problem if the matches felt even the slightest bit unique and fun and not like I’m doing chores for free. 6. Don’t buy the nwo pack. All those characters are in the game already. I felt cheated when I found an existing Hall and Nash in the game as the Outsiders and I could create an attire for Hogan and Xpac. So skip this unless you can’t go without Eric Bischoff. Overall, I feel I wasted my money. I do encourage you to develop your own opinion. Please understand this is my experience and you may feel differently. This was neither the game I anticipated, nor the game I was lead to believe I was purchasing. They did a great job selling this game. Kudos to the sales dept at 2k. As for the project manager and the execs that allowed this to release, you should be charged for fraud and should carry so much shame that you can’t look yourself in the mirror.
