I've never binged a show so fast. I've been waiting for this since the creators of Dark announced it. I woke up this morning like a kid on Christmas morning. I got nothing done around the house on my day off, because I couldn't peel my eyes away from my TV. It was fantastic. Mind-bending and fascinating. Do I think it's as perfect as Dark? No. I'm confident nothing will ever surpass that masterpiece, nor did I ever expect it to, and that's okay. But it was still so incredible. It was the easiest binge I've ever done. I accomplished nothing today but TV and I have no regrets.

I love the feeling of existential dread. In fact, I seek it out. It takes a lot to unsettle this cynical person, so when someone who knows my tastes recommended this film to me, I watched it. Sleep evaded me that night, because my brain was on overdrive. I love that feeling! However, it was also uncomfortable, but that's okay. If you like theoretical physics, then you'll probably enjoy this movie. Schrödinger's Cat is both dead and alive. It's not perfect, but it's still very good! But if you liked this movie, then you absolutely need to watch Dark on Netflix. Now that one is 5 out of 5 stars!

All those awards this mini-series received were so well deserved! I'm not typically into crime dramas, but as a longtime fan of Evan Peters, I wanted to watch it, especially after learning about his much overdue Emmy. I'm glad I gave it a shot, because it was incredibly well written and riveting. It was slow burn, but so riveting with so many unexpected twists. I binged on it within two days, and would have finished it sooner if I didn't have to go to work. I highly recommend it.

I'm a diehard fan of the AHS anthology. But AHStories was so bad that the memory of it is affecting my perception of its parent series. Not happy about that, especially seeing some of the crappy actors from AHStories bleed into AHS. Ba'al was the only exception (and Feral, to a lessor degree, since I was glad to see Cody Fern again), which is the only reason I didn't rate this 1 star. The rest of the episodes were trash. If you love AHS, I would stay away from this, because you'll start to judge the OG show in a different light, especially with this current season. I love almost everything Ryan Murphy spits out, but I wished I had never watched this.

My love for this anime knows no bounds. If you find quantum mechanics interesting, you will especially appreciate the way they incorporate real-life science and theoretical physics to tell a fascinating piece of fiction. Even if quantum mechanics isn't your thing, it won't matter. This is quality storytelling and directing. The music is beautiful too. Someone on the DARK (the German Netflix show) subreddit recommended Steins;Gate to me and it had been on my personal "to-watch list" for a while. I don't watch animes often, so I put it for about a year. I was told that it starts out a bit slow, but then it really picks up after the 5th episode. They were right, it was a bit slow in the beginning, but those light moments were absolutely necessary for us to care about the characters and also understand the emotional toll that time travel takes on the protagonist. By episode 12, the show completely flips the switch and that's when the chaos begins. If that seems too slow-burn for you, let me point out that each episode is only about 20 minutes long. I binged through this show in 24 hours over the weekend. I can't recommend this show enough. If you love quality science fiction, then I suggest you give this a try. I don't think you will regret it.

If you're looking for a mind-bending sci-fi with extremely clever writing and plot pay-offs, an awesome soundtrack, beautiful cinematography, and an incredible cast, then this is your show! I have heard people compare this to Stranger Things, but in actuality, I'd say it's more similar to Twin Peaks and LOST, with a small helping of Stranger Things. To say more would give away the plot and it's much better of you go in blind like I did. Every single episode of both seasons had me absolutely glued to my TV. There are so many insane twists and turns that will continue to blow your mind. This is a show that isn't afraid to go to dark places (please parden the pun) and there are also storylines and twists that will hit you right in the feels...or the gut. BTW, it's a German show and I would recommend watching with subtitles over dubs for obvious reasons, but whatever floats your boat and makes you watch it. :-) I honestly can't recommend this show enough. Can't wait until the 3rd cycle, AKA: season 3! *****UPDATE***** After finishing the 3rd and final season last year, I can confidently say with absolute certainty, this is the greatest piece of fiction I have ever experienced. I may come across as hyperbolic, but trust me, if you watch DARK, you'll understand why so many people call this show a masterpiece.
