Mark Fournette

I love this show, but as with Mad Men, I may have to stop watching due to all the ridiculous smoking. I don't know if it's lazy writing, lazy acting, or some payoff by the vestiges of the cancer industry, but it is odd to have to say this: smoking is not acting. It is not character development. What it is, is extremely annoying, distracting, and obtrusive. For all the money spent on cigarettes, this series could have hired real actors or writers, rather than this lazy attempt at periodization.
