Very disappointed. The book is far better. The movie took a treasured friendship of two totally different people from different backgrounds and values and made it into a sex, cheap film to appeal to audience viewership. So many of the story lines were not true to the book. Tully was never pregnant or married, divorce between Kate and Johnny never happened, Kate’s brother being gay, Kate’s father dying, insinuation of Kate’s mother having an affair were never written about. This movie took a once in a lifetime friendship and turned it into a sleazy, modern day mess!
