The acting was great, I loved the guy from GG and the Netflix series “You”. However, there was so much LOGIC missing from this movie as other reviewers have mentioned (no one checked up on the old lady earlier?? Friends and family weren’t worried about Jay or the mother’s sister or tried to contact them when they weren’t answering?? It’s way too unrealistic that David killed Jay in the family’s house with the two kids in it and didn’t get caught???). I was hoping and expecting this film to be about the teenagers journey in exposing the truth of the stepfather. More of a solve the case/mystery film with a happy ending where the guy finally gets arrested. But, the whole movie was just too predictable. The ending sucked (in my opinion) because the serial killer husband just gets away with everything? And HOW DOES HE WALK FREE AFTER BEING STABBED BUT MICHAEL WAS IN A COMA??
