The film fell short of expectations. The storyline lacked engagement and failed to capture interest, while the character development and execution were underwhelming. Additionally, the soundtrack often felt mismatched with the tone and pacing of the scenes. The portrayal of Lex, in particular, came across as overly high-pitched and reminiscent of Kylo Renโs whininess, and not menacing which detracted from the characterโs lack of impact. Overall very disappointing with this start of the DCU.
