There is certainly an attempt at remaining unbiased, but the author is deeply conservative and the book FREQUENTLY takes on very patronising and puritanical tones, especially in regards to sexual topics. It often seems like the Anna is less concerned with being helpful and more concerned with demonizing sexuality and letting us know how virtuous she is for not judging her patients.

Great ideas, fantastic characters, but the pacing is awful and it feels like every scene rushes to get the meaningful life lesson said in as little time as possible so it can move onto the next scene. It's exhausting when every scene tries to be the most important scene.

It really succeeded in bring the original show to life again, a significant improvement from 2010 and honestly, I really loved this series hahahahah
