Even though the show is different from the books, it is still amazing and welcomes the LGBTQ+ community which is awesome. Some people say that having to discuss the whole transgender thing in one of the episodes is unasked for, but learning about these things at a younger age is a benefit, and will let you be able to help other people support and understand this. People also said that the actors looked nothing like the original characters, but that doesn't matter, mostly because the actors can ACT like the characters and be just as nice as the book characters that we read about.
