Fantastic splendid Film on Swatantraveer Savarkar. The film effectively displays the stark truth of Veer Savarkar's life. Savarkar's exemplary courage and almost superhuman strength despite the extreme cruelty, physical and mental torture he is forced to undergo in the imprisonment hell of Kaala Pani Jail sends shivers down one's spine. Veer Savarkar's immense conviction in his beliefs, the tremendous efforts he successfully makes in mobilising Hindus& Muslims in our freedom struggle, the way he defines Hindutva, his selfless patriotism and devotion to our motherland Bharat is awe-inspiring. We see the brave sacrifices our beloved freedom fighters( Chaphekar bros, Lokmanya Tilak, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Khudiram Bose etc) made to seek freedom from the oppressive British Raj. The political machinations of Mahatma Gandhi, his obsessive appeasement of Muslims and almost treacherous submission and compliance to British plan of Partition of Undivided India makes our hackles rise.
