Long story, bear with me.
When I turned 6 years old, I had a Pokemon-themed birthday party. I didnt have any pokemon video games, but i watched the TV anime and I collected cards, as was the fad in Kindergarten. I invited a lot of people, and LITERALLY everyone got me Pokemon cards. At the end of the day, I had an absurd amount of starter decks, tins, and the likes. My parents made the suggestion to trade it all in and buy a Nintendo DS, which I had wanted for forever. And so we went to Target, traded in all the cards, and purchased a DS. My parents birthday gift to me? I got to choose one game for my new DS. What did I choose?
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team.
And thus started my lifelong love for video games.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX is every bit of the game I grew up with, and so much more. It has all of the nostalgia and grinding that i endeared so much. With a fantastic splash of new artwork, and the angelic music that i missed so dearly, this game is worth all 60 of the dollars that i paid for it.
