Smashingly wonderful series. Episode 5 is utterly terrifying, and Episode 6 left me in tears in the best way imaginable. I pulled up the complete list of performers so that I could laud my favorites, but really, if I get started on that, I'm going to be here all day. Certainly David Thewlis deserves every award possible for his chilling and wretchedly relatable depiction of John Dee, and Kirby Howell-Baptiste is fabulous as Death. Five stars are really insufficient.
