Nostalgia of living through your 20's when your number 1 priority is to hang with your friends and ponder on the future of relationships, and life as a whole. Summer night takes you through a one and half hour summary of what a summer night should entail; whether it's being free spirited or worry some. The light fun of drinking beers, hanging at your local bars and a mix of figuring out relationships in this movie brings you back to how simple, yet complex life can be at that age. The male cast was great with each role playing the exact version of different friends in a friend group would be like. The romantic, the shy timid one, the old fun one and the one that contemplates between responsibility and having fun. Female cast is great too with Victoria Justice standing out as of more light, rebellious flirt. 4/5

You really have to have a stomach to be able to go through the scenes. Parent's beware as the scenes and obscurity of child abuse can be very cringe worthy and upsetting. The director and actors did a really good job of depicting real life events of human trafficking. They also captures two separate set of human behavior..the sheer psychopath violent behavior of the capturers and the emotionally scarred/damaged of the abductee. The only critique I would have is that the movie is narrative from a someone in the hospital which is the child abductee. This gives away the conclusion that she is still alive and grown.

Based on a true story but the movie isn't high action sports related as most Football movies are. It focal points are based upon the actions of the team outside the football field and the consequences. Overall the cast was great. The movie went back and forth with actual footage from News feeds from 1988 which at times could be confusing. There wasn't a lot of character development so you didn't know why certain team members were part of the robberies or who received the sentences in conjunction to their respective positions on the team...ie captain of the team, QB, athlete of the year, etc. Still a good movie to watch especially for the younger athletes to understand there is no invincibility outside any sport. Ending should have more in depth updates on the team and players who were involved in the robberies.
