Honestly i think some people are a bit too harsh. Yes the villain was very one dimensional, and the film was very camp, but people aren’t mentioning how Dakota Johnson SAVED this film. It’s a shame that there will probably be no sequel now because Dakota did great with her material and i would have loved to see her play this character again. Overall it was a fun flick and people are too harsh. Lastly tho i will say that marvel should take a break cos there’s no hype behind any of these movies because they’re just constantly pumping them out. Also i think they need a more diverse range of films - ie some serious ones for serious fans who love and care about the lore — and then some light hearted films similar to the old spider-man’s that focus more on younger stars and the romance aspect of being a superhero for their younger fans. Ultimately i think that’s why Hollands last spider-man’s were the most hyped movies of the past few years. Anyways i hope that the Fantastic 4 franchise is a success and is not a repeat of this, for it would be a shame for such a successful cast to be given a bad script and bad marketing ❤️
