Uhmnnnn, aren't we are flawed somewhat? Jamie's dad embodied the typical traditional masculine traits: a man not given to expressing his emotions! Eddie (Jamie's dad) failed at not recognising the awry signs when Jamie started on his steep journey to his eventual ruins. Eddie should have taught his son and allowed him to have a first hand info of his own struggles and misgivings while growing up. I gleaned, albeit experiences seen and learned that it behoves us parents to be vulnerable with our children. We should teach them from our own mistakes/experiences how to navigate the murky waters of life (so they know whatever they are going through is not new).
