Do yourself a favor and watch this show before someone inadvertently spoils it for you. This show is dark, and reflects much of the unpleasant aspects of our own real world, except adding the terrifying prospect of super powered humans into the mix. There are some honestly funny moments too, so it's not pure drama. Can be rather gory in parts as the camera rarely shys away from some of the consequences of dealing with super powers. Good writing, believable characters, excellent moments, and some pretty solid commentary about the way the world we are presented every day is hand crafted to influence our opinions of it.
