Would not recommend for the following reasons:
Story with zero plot; so essentially, a lot of characters doing things but no driving force throughout sixteen episodes. Without plot, most episodes meander and flounder and there is nothing propelling the audience to watch the next episode.
Maximum melodrama with overly sentimental music intended to evoke emotions that were not organically created. Had elements of the story been weaved within a purposeful plot, perhaps those emotions would have happened naturally. But because things happened with zero foreshadowing, I felt very little when they actually happened.
Moved at a snailโs pace. While I understand there are sixteen episodes and the writers were attempting to build a relationship, by episode eight there should be more going on - so much more. It would serve K-Dramas well to be more flexible in their format. Some stories are not going to have enough depth and character development for sixteen one-hour episodes and thatโs okay. This is definitely an example of story that would do well to develop much earlier and stop at ten episodes.
