The only advantage this reboot has over the 1984 original is that it has the better technology for effects and filming. However the story itself was very lackluster. If they'd stuck to the original script or story, but gave it the added edge of newer technology for filming, then it would have been awesome. Sadly that's not what happened. They butchered the story.

This movie just sucked from one end to the other. The only positive about the movie was the animation. Beyond that, Iit's just horrible. It's a feelgood story with zero substance.The humor is hack humor, there's really no intelligence behind it, and overall it was just Meh. The movie sucked.
