I've been a NASCAR fan my entire life and have enjoyed watching the races on track, on TV and as of late streaming since thats the only choice for certain races (practice and qualifying segments). However, the NBC Sports app doesn't work at all. I have a Samsung TV (2021), a wired internet connection (400GBS) and all I get is "Something went wrong. Please try again later". My latest attempt is Michigan Xfinity practice and qualifying scheduled to air LIVE at 9am. This is not my first attempt to use this app and anything not LIVE is available. Any other sport, no issues. Any NASCAR event, "Something went wrong. Please try again later"
I've cleared cache, reinstalled to no avail, from Charlotte no less. NBC says its my provider (Spectrum) and Spectrum says it's the app maker (NBC Sports). Device is registered and signed in properly.
I enjoy tech, no doubt and I adapt to change. However, someone needs to make some real decisions about those at home trying to watch through the only available streaming service. Other reviews have pointed to this same or similar issues.
The stands are finally filling up again and with a younger crowd. But something is buggy about the streaming.
