While it may be clichรฉd, it was still entertaining, funny, and tugged at the heart a little. Perhaps it's just because an LGBTQ movie hasn't been done in this setting before, while heterosexual "royal romances" have been done to death. Just enjoy it. The two main characters are very natural and real in a way that made it feel like it was not another Hallmark type movie. Definitely enjoyable just to watch their chemistry.
