Before watching the Netflix show I thought the original comic was terrifying, in a good way. It was like probably the most expiremental zombie comic without the disease aspect. But for the show itself, it didn't really leave a good impression on me for the first 2 episodes. The tenament was way too detailed and it looked like those stereotypical hollywood "crappy apartment" vibe. In the original comic the tenament looked like, any normal tenament and this is where the problem comes in. The sets are too detailed or either too dark. And that's where it lost me. The show itself is good, but it doesn't compare to the original comic.
