I enjoyed the hell outta U-571, and I loved Hunt for Red October; this movie on the other hand would not even find a slot in my top 1000 favorite movies. It's to......anatomically correct to actually be enjoyed by most viewers. Sure, it looks action packed & sitting on the edge of your seat in the trailer, but its a far cry from nail biting suspense. I found it boring most of the time. Sure, if you went bavk in time and filmed a battle on the high seas during WW2 then it may very well look exactly like this strange movie with some strange captain wanting someone to fetch his slippers during a battle with a German u boat. Who wants to watch that? For you weirdos who enjoy that kinda thing, enjoy. As for me I prefer to have some knowledge about who the characters are and this movie just doesn't offer up any kind of character development in any way I found enjoying. I wouldn't watch it again if you paid me $25.00. And for those of you whose butt hurts after reading this review, get over yourself, it's just one man's take on a movie he had hoped he would enjoy
