(SPOILER ALERT) It was bad. They butchered everything. It lacked soul and the way they acted made it sound like a play instead of genuinely being in character. Some of the most important and heart felt scenes were either butchered, removed, or changed for the worst. How can you take mufasa out of forming into the cloud? That was a monumental moment. How can you remove the part where Rafiki hit Simba in the head with a stick? How can you make laughing hyenas not funny but serious? How can you make Simba seem like he barely cared that his father died? Shaking him and saying "come on we got to get up. We gotta go home".? They took that out. All the voices were flat. I could go on and on. This adaptation was gross at best.
