Where to begin. First, I am a huge movie buff and have seen many movies from all over the world; love *good* movies of every genre - horror, comedy, drama, suspense, action, etc. I absolutely loved the first 2 Guardians movies; they were so well done. From the story, to dialogue, characters, chemistry; excellent. This movie, in practically every way, was abysmal. The dialogue was just....stupid and thoughtless. There was zero flow from scene to scene. The soundtrack (which was so thoughtful in the first 2 movies) felt carelessly slapped together. The amount of needless gore was ridiculous and annoying. The ending felt like a dumbfounded slap in the face. I really wanted to like it. The classic Guardians humor was non-existent. With every dumb moment of the movie I still hoped it would turn around because I really wanted to walk away saying I loved it. But no. When it sucks, it sucks; and this sucked in every way.
