I had a difficult time finishing this movie. The acting was terrible, the plot line and actions were incredibly stupid, not at all realistic. The cgi didn’t bother me, as compared to the entire moving and acting. A movie doesn’t have to necessary look realistic for it to be a good watch. Not in this case at all; the characters annoyed me, the main character wasn’t even frightened with her predicament and swam out in the ocean with a school of sharks. Are you kidding? The characters were dumb and did not connect with me or make me want them to survive. Also, why would they go to an unknown island with NO location on??? Anyway, I’m giving it 1 star mainly because it wasn’t the worst movie ever, a little entertaining because it was so bad and I liked the island and some of the cinematography. Normally, I give movies a chance and don’t give up, but this one was hard to finish without cringing.
