In my humble opinion, the long ballad is probably one of the best costume dramas to have aired in a long time. They have a unique and interesting storyline that makes you want to watch more. Dilireba and Wu lei, along with all the actors and actresses in this drama are great in building chemistry in character, as well as acting. The director and the rest of the crew put in a lot of effort filming and planning before it's premiere, and the costumes--even the props--are insanely similar to the ones used in the Tang Dynasty. Not to mention, the plot links very closely with the real history of the Tang Dynasty as well. The scenery, the action, the romance, the acting, the set, the costumes... I can go on and on; this drama is definitely a hit. I really suggest those who haven't watched this drama to give it a shot. Apart from that, stay safe everyone! <3
