The greatest ancestor of all the Bad Boy novels out there, but I doubt if that was the point of the novel. Given that none of the young-adult books these days have managed the dry, witty humor that drives the point home like Jane Austen's writing can. The old fashioned setting of the book is something that I didn't like, but enjoyed at the same time. A must read for book addicts and aspiring authors.
