Extraordinarily edifying. Fanon brings to light the tragedy and psychological damage that colonialism and subsequent independence, through years of conflict, has on the natives and later generations. Although he focuses mainly on Algeria, and their war of independence, the effects he discusses of colonialism are felt throughout the world and are relevant even today.
