This movie is just a weak attempt to build hype then subvert expectations. Just because something is different doesn't make it good. Honestly, the world would be better if both Unbreakable and Split were standalone series. There are some good performances in this movie but by the end it feels like a big waste of time with characters just making dumb decisions. Why didn't the Horde just cover their eyes from the flashing lights? Why would you put 3 superhumans in a facility with zero security and then be surprised when they get out? Why are the 3 B characters suddenly best friends when their loved ones legitimately tried to murder each other? Why is David Dunn even in this movie if they are just going to ignore him? Because movie that's why.
