Dr. Harrigan started writing this book as a therapist, a seeker, and a teacher. Along the way it became something else: the footsteps of a fully-realized Saraswati lineage-holder, Swami Chandrasekharanand, whose compassion for lost and confused souls incarnated in America brought him to Knoxville and cities across the US. Swamiji made sure his Western disciples understood that side-channels frequently trapped unguided Kundalini awakenings... and need to be corrected. He spoke little of the darkness that a true guru -"remover of darkness" - must help with to have a chance of finding sushumna nadi - the genuine "easy way" central channel that leads to the thousand-petal lotus and beyond.
