An excellent medical thriller that delivers plenty of chills, yet has a depth that only a good writer - in the form of Robin Cook - and a medical student turned writer/director in Michael Chrichton can bring.
Chrichton's work always has a kind of detached, intellectual feel to it and that works very well for this sort of film.
