Just “stumbled” on this version. I simply love mysteries set in the Victorian age. As my favorite Holes has always been Basil Rathbone, I never heard of this version Comically. Upon watching the 1st episode, I thought this Holmes to be an ass***le”. Little did I know that this is the most literal interpretation of Holmes. I am bingeing season 1, and I am totally booked. I agree he is the best Holmes I have seen. I have seen approximately 10 of the dozens who have tried. But Jeremy Brett seems to be the critics and audience choice. Who am I to disagree Also, I was very surprised to learn that Holmes was a “tweaker “. Lol Not that it really matters. But I strongly suspect and it appears that Holmes and Watson are a couple. In the early part of S1, Ep 11, THE RESIDENT PATIENT, the two share a spirited and delightful exchange in the.barbershop. There is mention of them attending a concert the night before. Then they are seen walking “arm in arm” down the street. While this could be seen as merely a strong friendship, I would counter it is much more. Again, it does not detract from the series, but it is curious to surmise.

I loved it. The ending was such a misdirection. Any other movie would have done the final girl thing. One kill motif was this thing for damaging noggins. One last thing. The “trap” was so poorly executed by the protagonists.

i loved this movie. Like all scottish and irish movies , definitely need Closed captions on. was shocked at a couple of the kills. almost took me out of the comedic moments. but Martin TOTALLY steals Act 3.

I loved LUPIN. This show is best watched in French and English subtitled. If you watched he dubbed version, all of the emotion is sapped from the exchanges.

Margo Martindale is a National Treasure. She elevates evertything that she is in.

i love this show. BUt i have to watch with subtitles. I miss so many of their slang. Bobs, dips, nicked, loo. but i am plowing through all the eps. BUt this Bright character is a CLASS a##hat to Morse. UgggHHHHH!!!

Dude was dangling pretty low when he was in the doorway near the end.

Patricia Arquette is a treat for story and eyes. Glad she is not using surgery. Courtney Cox is a mess on her show.

also, couldnt note the mini-SMALLVILLE reunion of Alan Ritchson and Kristin Kreuk. Alan RItchson played Aquaman in SMALLVILLE. He could have done just as good as Jason Mamoa. Also, nothing wrong with Roscoe bedding Reacher, because he looks good with his shirt off. She didnt ogle him, but darn due can move the needle on both genders,

I love this show. the sets, dialogue. My buddies rag me because i am into British shows (period and present). This one i took a flyer on it while surfing BRITBOX, and fell in love with it. My only beef is the new actress playing Amelia Lyngate has no heft or chemistry with Max. Jessica De Gruw from Season 1 was captivating and she had sexual chemistry with Max. That was a hook , but now that romance is wisely downplayed in Season 2. Really miss her. In entertainment, it is curious how some people have "IT: and you know it when you see it.
