It is a misinterpreted historical drama where lots of scenes are skewed or made up. Phyllis Schlafly is portrayed as a ridiculous figure. If you watch her actual debates, you will see that her arguments are actually much stronger than those of the feminists and not ridiculous like the show is trying to depict. Moreover, the relationship between her and her husband is just made up and has no factual grounds.
