i have watched this serial till episode 48 yet, and i can't help but be in awe of it. To the people who are criticising the show for being historically inaccurate- this is historical fiction, which means it doesn't have to be historically accurate, it just uses historical figures as characters in a story.
I want to appreciate the writers of this show. The way they have given strengths and flaws to each character and have made every character unique and significant in their own ways is admirable. They have written strong and believable characters. Also they have written the villains very well too, for example Dhana Nanda. He has his strengths and flaws and fears and skills, like other characters. Apart from that, the main character Chandragupta is a gray hero. We see his character development emerging finely. Also the characters aren't given to us as good or bad, they are just shown to us and we get to interpret them as good and bad, which is a significant skill in writing. I absolutely love this about the show.
I also really want to express my appreciation for the directors of this serial. The fine details of the architecture in the background, the rich way they have portrayed the culture and history and architecture, even in background, is awesome. The only word that comes out of my mouth is "wow"!
The title track and the music of this show is just intoxicating, i love it!
I want to thanks the Sony team and Siddharth Kumar Tewary sir for this show!
