I feel like the people who gave bad reviews didn't realize this was satirical. Overall it was an interesting miniseries. You definitely get some laughs at the jabs at stereotypical thrillers. They're subtle though so unless you go into this knowing the purpose of the show, I can see how people think this was poorly executed because it's purposely highlighting those cringey moments in thrillers.

Honestly this first movie was pretty solid in my opinion. Sure there are moments that are meh but overall, the aesthetic and plot are intriguing and nostalgic. If you're wanting to watch a movie that has a spooky slasher vibe plus a decent amount of comedy and drama, I would say this is a good movie to go to.

I mean I feel like so many comments have already touched on everything absolutely wrong with this movie. Honestly should have been a comedy with how laughable this was. Acting wasn't great and so many cliche characters and plot. This movie = 🗑
