Aside from its wonderful actors, the film has little to admire. It does not picture anything real of Tehran in 1980 if you have lived there and witnessed the city first-hand. It is an exaggeration of everything. Many details have been overlooked, in fact and form, in favor of exaggerating what is meant to become bold. The story could have been told in a much better way.
