A fantastic book for pre and young teenagers to introduce the genre of dystopian fiction. Personally, when I read this novel with my year 6 class (10 - 11yr/o) I thoroughly enjoyed it and later found that it gave me a head start in understanding dystopian novels later on in secondary school.
