Avatar: Way of the Water, digs deeper into anti-colonialism, Nature vs humans, and among other themes including family bonds.
Villains the return 20-30 years later bringing the realization that the earth is dying and Jake Sully stands in the way of a total take over. In order to solve this, marine assassins avatars are cultivated to hunt Jake down to make way for a massive take over.
The movie remains interesting all the way throughout due to interesting character building of the Jake’s children, however they do end up loosing the bigger picture by the end of the movie. The end is a vague tie up that lands us right back we’re we expecting in the very beginning of the movie, out right war with the sky people.
I highly recommend watching the movie because it was still a good movie, it just focuses on his family more.
