I voiced this criticism via email to Dr. Lee receiving no response. I criticized her and her assistants for not tying up nor covering their hair. You expose your patients to possible infection when your hair floats about while you conduct surgery. I'm surprised Dr. Lee has not been admonished by the California Board of Dermatology.

Can you spell "affected"? I felt after a half hour, perhaps this was a grad student film project...an experiment at best. Possibly, will end up on the "Also Ran" list of 2021 movies. I say, back to the drawing board.

The clothes, the illustrious actors, the wondrous cruise ship, the Nile and surroundings are a feast for the eyes. The movie, however, could have been cut by at least a half hour. Way too long, therefore loses some of the tempo of an evolving mystery.

The positive comments prompt me to ask, "Did we all see the same "West Side Story" remake? Like oh so many who loved the first version, this remake is a travesty; somehow Spielberg with so many amazing creations in his repertoire, failed to capture the breathtaking romance that enfolds and energy of the gangs slash and shout outs in alleyways of NYC. Richard Beymer was bad enough as the original Tony, but Ansel Egort (whatever were you thinking, Mr. S?). Rachel Zegler, please show me some fire (once again, Natalie Wood was a poor choice. NY and LA is full of talented singer/dancers to give life to Maria. The movie being oh so long took away much of the energy, midway through, I nodded out. I sighed out loud as I watched the handsome, beautiful, excellent dancers of WSS#1 explode across the screen. Suggestion: Never remake a movie that's forever a special memory of movie audiences.

All this hoopla over Kate Winslett's appearance in a televised production; well, I say, she wasn't exactly given a demanding role of say Lady Macbeth in "Mare of Eastown". She exhibited a most subdued performance as detective in a backwater town whose sex drive was temporarily stimulated by a handsome, English teacher (Guy Pearce) on temp assignment at the local college. Their affair sputtered between her searching for the perpetrators of local homicides and dealing with her teenage kids as a single mom. I laughed when I read "costume designer" in the credits as attire for the cast was shall we say uninspired, drab, not a designer dress in the bunch. Each time I came upon the next episode on whatever night, I thought, "do I really care?"

It's about the quality of acting or the lack thereof. The woman who plays Henry's sister living in Scotland failed to flesh out her character by trying too hard, by "showing the engines" (Henry Fonda said that). Several times I worried she'd spit out her front teeth while expressing anger over her sot of a husband. Embarrassing really was Katharine whose playbook consisted of alternating a pouting mug with a teary face sometimes broken by an occasional outburst. And the actor portraying King Henry VIII does this man of so many interests and talent, with women as well music and ballroom dancing, no justice. All in all, "The Spanish Princess" is a disastrous romdram. Another thing, the costumes look like they came from decades old studio Renaissance wardrobe

Action flow a little draggy, but I have to say being someone who deals with chronic pain, I could feel her every agonizing move. I can't believe the caustic reviews and I thought Aniston actions on screen resonated through an audience. 3 cheers

Some reviews just ruined my memory of this movie. I didn't find it cheesy or pushing religion and I even believe with the boy that sometimes wishing with all your heart and patience, will make some dreams come true. This review for example, "And why was he always yelling? "I CAN BRING DAD HOME!" "I BEELIIIVE!!" The CGI and animation was as bad as an 80's TV show and they tried too hard. If you like cheesy movies with bad acting, this is the way to go. And of course he had to BELIVE in himself to bring his widdle daddy home fwom the war." I wonder if this reviewer might like "Wizard of Oz". a movie in which all sorts of wonderful, improbable characters and things happen. Cheesy things happen, people make and help out their friends and cry shamelessly and sing "Over the Rainbow", a wonderful wonderful song of hope and wishes. I loved "Little Boy".

We so look forward to Michael's movie on Showtime. We as a family have known Michael since he was in grade school in Berkeley CA where he first pursued his obsession with making movies. "Apple Seed" has received good reviews and we say, "Congratulations and it's been a long time comin'". Fantastic news. Kathy Cheer

I think Cranston probably could have acted throughout the movie on his own; he so overpowered the others in the cast. He's one helluvan actor, dynamic, great with the flow of dialogue.
