It's a great historical fiction... I like how the author depicts the characters like hester and galen..... In this story hester is a very headstrong independent girl..in author's language galeno is a charming rascal.( also the formidable black Daniel)....... It's a romantic fiction.... With little thrill... Which I don't like about this story is to potrate galeno as a hero in last chapter... And hester once a independent girl to be fully depending on him...

I think it's need more gromming..... A good story... But personally I don't highly recommend it
