WHY?????? I loved and appreciated Normal People so this is really disappointing. I was looking forward to this Xmas present. After struggling through a few chapters I just gave up. The author is on a mission to prove to readers that she is an intellectual heavyweight ……and boy does this book weigh heavy. Bye bye beautiful people….life is too short to waste time with you
