This game is total garbage. With all the “player upgrades” available to people who spend the money, it is next to impossible to actually win online head to head matchups. To the point where I don’t even want to play the game. EA has steered strongly away from the realistic type of sports game and become gaudy. If you enjoy this game it’s probably because you’ve spent money in ultimate team and have a stacked team that is impossible to beat. I don’t mind losing either, I enjoy a good competitive game. And maybe the true problem with this game is matching people in H2H online mode. But after playing about 10 online matches I had to put the controller down due to very unfair conditions of the game. That’s not what competitive is. That’s just giving the advantage to those willing to spend the extra money. I would like to see a return to reality in future madden games. There is no reason that garbage defenders should be able to get upgraded to the point where they’re impossible to get away from, or force a fumble every time they tackle a player, or get a pick from 20 yards away. If you are an actual football fan, this game is only good for a local exhibition mode, where you play with someone right next to you. Otherwise, don’t waste your money and time.
