Listen... If you want a cheapo movie that is nothing like the games in the slightest and even as a standalone movie makes no sense then go ahead. It may give the games a nod in the fact that theres some similarities with names and costumes, but past that this movie is utter trash. They got the casting okay, but the script and screenplay were so lacking that even if you take away the games and try to view it as just a new movie, it doesnt make sense, the pacing is bad, and the effects leave much to be desired.
