Would have given higher score if there wasn't any cheating and there were more stable couple plots. I do realize a drama is a drama. However, putting things in a dramatic way (like the unrealistic fight between Dani and Sophie in the car after confronting Dani's dad) seems redundant, and overdoing it. The fight was created intentionally. That much was obvious. I know the plot was to create tension and wedge between the two characters but the dispute was so intentionally made.
Yes, cheating, polygamy, unfaithfulness exist but does all lgbtq+ do so? I am a member of lgbtq+ member and was with my ex for three years. Three whole years, we agreed to wait till official partnership to consummate. And no, we broke up not because of no sex, but other issues. Surprise!Surprise!
Think of what you want, writers. Really. Do you want a copy of every original L world? Or do you want to present the world with a more realistic lgbtq+ life? If sex is just as heavy or occur just as a route for escaping reality (which often make me so confused. Is it just me being one of the black sheeps among lgbtq+ or is it because many non-straight ones usually live their lives in such a manner?) as the original L world, I can skip lots of scenes then and wonder why I even bother watching the show in the first place.
Challenging question of the day: name three couples in original L world series who hadn't cheated on their partner while they were in relationship. I am serious, do you know how it affects us lghbtq+ in real life? People generally assume us being unfaithful, incapable of forming stable relationship.
