One of the things that I love about The Chosen is that it is accessible from a non-denominational standpoint. The writers interpolate and extrapolate to fill out the story, but they don’t interpret. They leave that up to the viewer. I am a Christian Scientist, and while the folks behind the show are no doubt coming from a different place than I am, I feel their intelligent approach, sincerity, and craftsmanship make this an extremely valuable resource and superb support for Bible study. Their humility and transparency is refreshing.
