I watched "a new hope" when I was very young, back in 1978. I have seen every movie, and I am a true life-long Star Wars fan. I think this movie was pretty good. A lot of loose ends were tied up, and there was decent acting all around. The effects of course were outstanding. The plot twist and ending did not bother me; it seemed to go along with certain facts that were a little confusing (for example, why Rey was able to be so powerful with the force without any training). I thought Driver was fantastic. I don't understand all the hate and judgement. The movie is actually at least as good as any other JJ Abrams movie, and it does tie up a lot of loose ends.
