I’m writing this review in 2025 after seeing this on TV just yesterday in the UK. Absolutely brilliant & Funny too. Remember it when it came out and thought it was a Turkey. Mabey it’s because movies right now all feel stagnant & lost - this movie is actually really funny & has great effects that are still good & superior to a lot of movies right now. CGI hasn’t come very far since. Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this & need to see it again soon.

As a fan since childhood in the early 70’s - I’m delighted to say Fantastic Four First Steps a proper fun action packed Marvel success. Delivering us GALACTUS (a favourite villain of mines) who has now arrived and joins THANOS as one of the greatest villains ever. The cast are great - The design is incredible & inspiring along with superb effects. The female Surfer is excellent. Nothing to worry about. Reminds me of the original Avengers movie. Simple storyline. Alien Threat from outer space & earth bound Superheroes having to face up to it. It doesn’t spend most of the time explaining gobbledygook Mutliverse nonsense - It just is ! Now I’m hoping MARVEL will now continue with this quality and eventually give us a HULK V THING battle, SPIDER-MAN etc & just give us the things we loved about the comics. But GALACTUS is AWESOME. 😎

This is yet another paint by numbers MCU non event. Same old rotten jokes and a truly boring movie. This is not the turning point for Marvel - I put this alongside Thor L&T , Shang Chi & Black Widow. Disappointing after just a year since Deadpool/Wolverine where we thought Marvel would return to quality. This latest mess is instantly forgettable. Marvel has truly lost it’s recipe for making great action fantasy movies & I don’t think they have a clue how to fix it.

Great cast & good production but wanted more. It wants to be an epic but it’s lacking charisma. Love seeing The Leader & the call backs to the superb Incredible Hulk movie. Sadly no real Hulk connection. It’s pretty mediocre stuff dressed up as epic - like Winter Soldier. Marvel still has lost the recipe for making fantastic fantasy with no sign of anything new.

Just watched on Netflix. Utter nonsense but actually quite enjoyable. Hayden Christensen is still a plank of wood but rest of cast do well with not a lot.

It’s better than expected. Effects are immense - Acting Good. Story/Plot bit silly & hard to take seriously. Takes enough from the classic movie to remind us of what was - but rather than have a straight forward Good Guy V Bad Guy - it’s all the middle players who the plot revolves around. I can’t knock it. It is what it is - it just doesn’t have Crowe & Phoenix star quality at its centre. Saw it in IMAX and was well impressed.

Excellent show. Fresh and easy to watch.

Expected more after all the hype. It’s mostly enjoyable but it’s not the saviour of the MCU. It’s another comedy which is way better than Thor L&T but no where near the quality of Spider-Man No Way Home with it’s bringing older characters back. Also really wanted Hulk to show up but it’s a blink and miss moment.

Not a big George fan but I quite enjoyed this. Beautifully shot in stunning locations. It doesn’t really a story that is anything new , but it’s enjoyable. Quite relaxing actually to watch.

What a fantastic lineup of A list actors who still had their bigger successes to come. Liam Neeson, Daniel Day-Lewis, plus lots of British tv actors when they were younger. Beautifully shot & with a very different perspective on the main characters. It’s on Netflix I’ve been able to view it for the 1st time. Well worth a watching.
