The book itself was an interesting read. It identified several things that could be done to improve our political system. It's a bit of an idealistic perspective but hit home just the same.
So why the OK review? I'm a part of several professional forums and groups that can either push your book forward or bring it back. My concern is about the Author. On several of these forums, there are questions about her mental health and instability. It talks about losing her children, made up stories and allegations of being reaped, and other stuff that I won't get into. The last post about her is what concerned me, it was from a man asking that anyone who interacts with her to record the conversations because people are trying to put her in an asylum or treatment center of some sort.
It just rubbed me and several members the wrong way with a great deal of concern for her credibility.
We had to stop recommending the book because of the post and reviews. They are still there but to protect the group we've chosen to no longer review her reviews or give credit to the book.
Since then, we've had 4 other Facebook groups and professional forums reach out to us with the same problem. Her family is desperately trying to get her help from what it seems. We had 2 book clubs that were going to highlight her book in the next 2 months but both have pulled out since receiving the news.
