At the time when the film release, I was excited due to how good the first was. Until I saw the reference of my cousin and I's hometown. Everyone in the theater laughed because of how Hollywood it looked and really stereotypical, but that wasn't why I didn't enjoy it as much. It just didn't serve as well as it's first, especially with Emily Blunt not reprised in her role. It definitely gave a whole Noir type of character for her, with Brolin using her for their investigations. Though, Benicio's performance in this one was great like before. It was a decent action film, just missed the drama and mystery that made me love the first film.
